You're probably asking yourself, "What in the world would possess someone to start a business in animal poop?" "Was it a life-long goal?" "Was it a dream come true?" "Was it something I'd strived for all my life but just couldn't reach the brass ring?" "Was it a toss up between this and winning the lottery and I just felt this was much more challenging?" No. No. Actually it was nothing like that. You'd have to know my wife to realize how this business came to fruition. To say my wife loves animals more than she loves me - well, that'd simply be an understatement. She is Noah, without the Ark. She is Old McDonald, without the farm. I could go on and on. Let's just say, in order to live with her, I had to accept the fact that we would have dogs (and lots of them) and I was subject to come home and find strays that were getting bathed or getting cleared by the vet so she could find them a new home. We also helped raise money for dogs found that needed heartworm treatment. It was never ending. Instead of spending my weekends out on the boat fishing, I would find myself in the yard picking up poop. When suddenly I asked - "If this is going to be my life's work, why not get paid for it?" I mean, I have a high school diploma - I think I can do this. And experience? I should be Poop Commander in Chief. There's no one that knows poop better than me.
